Pure, Ethical & Sustainable Beekeeping from Kullu Valley
The Story of Our Himalayan Honey
Nestled in the pristine, pollution-free heights of the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh, Mountain Honey Bee was born out of a deep passion for sustainable apiculture and bee conservation. We are dedicated to nurturing and protecting the native Himalayan Mountain honey bee, Apis Cerana, using scientific yet eco-friendly practices that respect nature and the environment.
Apis Cerana Mountain Bees
Resilience in the Mountains
Smaller than other species, the indigenous Apis cerana cerana bee thrives in the high altitudes of the Kullu Valley. Her natural resilience and adaptation to the unique Himalayan ecosystem are central to our apiculture.
We work in harmony with these native pollinators, ensuring their well-being is paramount. Their undisturbed life cycle is key to the purity and unique character of our honey.
Harvested with Respect
Native Forage
Super Chamber Only
Unheated & Unfiltered
Our bees feed exclusively on wild Himalayan flora, never sugar syrup. This ensures the honey's natural composition and unique flavor.
We harvest honey solely from the super chamber, leaving the brood chamber untouched. This protects the bee colony's health and ensures their winter survival.
Our honey remains raw, unheated, and unfiltered, preserving its natural enzymes, pollen, and distinct regional character from the Kullu Valley.
